Ice Cream

For some reason blogger wants this photo on its side. I don't know how to turn it around. I love this photo, taken on my iPhone on the last night of our recent holiday to Brittany. The chocolate stains have never come out of that t-shirt though.

Skipton Castle

These photos are from May 2008, our first family holiday as a three. Thought I'd try and get some old photos printed off to scrapbook this weekend

Jacob is 3

Actually Jacob is now 4! I just managed to scrap the shot of him on his 3rd birthday 2 days before he turned 4. I will try to scrap the shot of him turning 4 in the next few weeks. Watch this space.

the Bigger the Better

Jacob has really got into geocaching this summer. He is very insistent that he holds the GPS and that he is the first to search for the cache. This is most definitely the biggest one we've found as a family.

New Hall

Last November I spent a lovely weekend away with some very special friends in a very special place in Chirk called New Hall. We really must get organised and book to go away there again this year.

Moving out... Moving on

The day we left our ould house in 2010. It really was the end of an era. The challenge was to use a grid

I want to ride my Bicycle

Here is a picture of Daniel. I really enjoyed putting together this bright layout.

Scrapbook Sketch of the Week

Thought I'd get involved in the online crop over at Shimelle.com last weekend. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy scrapping. Hopefully I'll get the time to do lots more now I'll be working part time

Missing

A friend asked if my blog was broken.......

............it isn't, i've just been stupidly busy. The summer was crazy busy and now I'm trying to find a job and move house at the same time. The ove happens next week, which means we will be internetless for about 2 weeks, then normal\service should resume.

I'm still reading all your blogs but through google reader so i'm not clicking through to comment.

See you soon xxxx

Pretty in Pink

How cute is this meringue pig.

We have a book in our house called '1000 things to do in Britain' I love it. No. 26 is 'Pig out at Judges Bakery' Every single item they sell is made from organically certified ingredients. The only snag is that it is in Hastings, which is a long way from home.

My lovely friend Emily is from Hastings and recently on a trip to see her family she popped into Judges and picked me up some pink meringue pigs. Thank you Emily.
Interesting fact - they are dyed with raspberry and beetroot juice.

Yummy.
